Paul Revere engraved this view of the 1768 landing of the British troops in Boston sent to suppress the disorder following the Townshend Acts. The original drawing was probably done by Christian Remick. This is not only an excellent view of 18th century Boston, but also a great tool for discussing the events leading up to the Revolution.
