Participants attending this workshop will learn new strategies for teaching simple machines lessons through social studies in their K-5th grade classrooms. Sessions will be taught at the Paul Revere House, the Old North Church, the Charlestown Navy Yard, and the USS Constitution Museum. With a combination of background lecture, hands-on learning with period craft experts, and activities in museums this class will introduce new ways to think about old concepts.
