Sage Carbone, Boston resident with Indigenous (Northern Narragansett, Mi’kmaq) and colonial ancestry will demonstrate beadwork. Her ongoing projects include the City of Cambridge initiative “Native Voices” to install street signage in the Massachusett language and reinterpret historical markers and a collaboration with the Boston Red Sox to host the annual Native American and American Indian Celebration at Fenway Park. Her beadwork (including the piece below) is on exhibition at the Cyrus Dallin Museum in Arlington, MA. She accepts for commissions by request.
