Paul Revere House featured in Craft In America

The Paul Revere House is thrilled to be participating with Craft in America and over 300 other cultural organizations and craftspeople in Handwork 2026. This national 250th collaboration celebrates the diversity of craft that defines America. Craft is at the heart of our work to share Revere’s legacy. Not just a midnight rider on a night long ago, Revere was also a silversmith, engraver, and an extraordinary businessman and innovator.

As part of this year long exploration, our Executive Director Nina Zannieri and Curator David Gain were interviewed for an episode of PBS’s Craft in America series. Check out the full episode here or view just the silvesmithing segment (below) to learn more about Paul Revere’s work, and to see how a modern silversmith approaches restoring 18th-Century silver artifacts.
